Pre-K and K Chicks

Look what's hatching in Pre-K and Kindergarten!

First, the students drew a circle and a triangle and painted them yellow. These shapes represent the chick's head and body. Next, the shapes we're cut out and glued to blue paper. Eggshells and other details were added to create the adorable chick hatching from an egg. Finally, tissue paper grass and ripped paper rain were added to create a spring environment.
